Q4: What documents are required to sell my car?

A4: To make selling your car easy, having the registration certificate and your driver’s license helps. However if either your license or registration has been misplaced or lost, we can usually confirm ownership by alternative means such as your passport or other recognized ID cards.

Q6: What if I owe money on my vehicle? Can I sell my car if it’s financed?

A6: Yes. First contact your finance provider to obtain the balance still owing (payout figure). Usedcarguys will pay this amount to the finance provider and give you the balance in cash. Note: In the event of the payout being greater than your vehicle’s value, Usedcarguys will advise on the best way to sell you car.

Q7: What if my vehicle is not registered, or in WOF issue?

A7: No problem, we will buy your car “as is” and our purchases are final. You will not be exposed to conditions such as finance approval or mechanical inspection. Our money is guaranteed.

Q8: Can another person sell my car on my behalf?

A8: Yes. It is possible to sell your car to usedcarguys if you are not available. For example: your parents or partner can arrange to sell your car for you while you’re overseas. In respect to fleet or company cars, the entities authorized representative can arrange and complete a sale. We will make sure everything is explained clearly before you sell the car to us.
